Geography
Malta is located at about a hundred kilometers from the South of the Sicilian island, and 217,48 miles from the Tunisian and Lybian coasts.
The island chain is composed of two mains islands : Malta and Gozo. Between those, there are little islands such as Comino, Cominotto and in the south the tiny one named Filfla. There are no rivers, no montains, forests, or view from the sky. Malta is like a big grey rock.
Climate
The weather is mediteranean type with dry and warm summers. The winters are chilly and sunny. The rainy season occur between November and February. It is possible to swim in the sea between April and October and do nautics sports activities all the year. The typical south of Europe wind named "Mistral" blows at the end of summer.
